Employers of CTPF Members

Employers provide a vital link between members and the Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund (CTPF). All Employers must comply with the The Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund (CTPF) Return to Work Rules. Many different factors determine whether a retiree’s pension will be affected by a return to work, including specific details about their work history and pension calculation.

Employer Contribution Reporting

Each month, Employers remit employee pension contributions to The Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund (CTPF). Illinois law requires that these contributions be made within a certain time period. If the Employer does not send the funds within the required time, penalties may be assessed.
