November 7, 2018, CTPF concluded elections for:
- Two (2) Teacher Trustees to serve three-year terms ending November 2021
- One (1) Teacher Trustee to fill a vacancy for a one-year term ending November 2019
- One (1) Pensioner Trustee to fill a vacancy for a term ending November 2019
PENSIONER TRUSTEE ELECTION UPDATE
Four candidates were certified to run for one open position. Robert F. “Bob” Bures received the highest vote total, as certified by Election Services Corporation.
RECOUNT REQUESTED
The runner-up, Lois Nelson, requested a recount of the 2018 CTPF Board of Trustees Pensioner election, per the “Recount of an Election” provision (Section 410) in the CTPF Election policy.
Election Services Corporation (ESC) conducted a recount of the election which concluded on November 12, 2018. ESC determined that Robert F. “Bob” Bures received the highest number of votes and was certified as the winner of the recounted election.

The recently elected trustees will be sworn in at the CTPF Board of Trustees meeting on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.
