CTPF will hold one election in November 2026 
for two Teacher Trustees to serve three-year 
terms from November 2026 – November 2029. 
Nomination packets are available from April 1 – 
September 15, 2026.
The next Pensioner Trustee election will be held in 2027. Find 
additional election information at ctpf.org/election-central. 
CTPF Direct Deposit (Form 425) is
available through the myCTPF portal or by 
contacting Member Services. Identity will be 
verified before forms are issued, using a CTPF 
Member ID and additional security questions. Annuitants can 
find their Member ID on a pay advice. For assistance, please

In Memoriam: Bea Lumpkin
CTPF is deeply saddened by the passing of Bea Lumpkin, on June 14, 2026, at the age of 107. 
Bea was one of CTPF’s most senior members who dedicated her life to fighting for workers’ 
rights, social justice, and education.  
In 2025, Bea attended CTPF’s 130th Anniversary 
Celebration as a recipient of the Jane Addams Living 
Legacy Award, honoring supercentenarians whose lives 
reflect lasting legacy and impact. Bea inspired attendees 
through her commitment to change and her example of 
how one person can create multigenerational impact.  
“Bea Lumpkin’s life was a remarkable example of commitment to justice, 
education, and the power of collective action,” said Carlton W. Lenoir, Sr. 
“As one of CTPF’s supercentenarian members, she inspired everyone who had 
the privilege to meet her, especially during our 130th anniversary celebration, 
where her energy and conviction left a lasting impression. She will be deeply 
missed, and her impact will continue to guide and inspire our work.”

supercentenarian Bea Lumpkin with the Jane Addams 
Living Legacy Award during CTPF’s 130th Anniversary 
celebration in August 2025. 
Protecting the integrity of CTPF and ensuring benefits are paid accurately to eligible recipients is a core 
responsibility of CTPF. As part of this work, CTPF conducts periodic pension payment audits, which include 
verifying contact information for members and survivors who receive monthly benefits. 
CTPF mailed letters and Address Verification Forms to two groups this spring and summer. Recipients must complete, sign, 
notarize, and return the form by the deadline listed in their letter. Forms may be submitted by emailing a .PDF or .JPEG to 
imaging@ctpf.org (preferred), by fax, or US Mail.  
It is important to respond by the deadline. If a completed form is not received on time, pension payments will be suspended 
until the form is returned and processed. Any suspended payments will be reinstated (including retroactive amounts), as soon 
as administratively feasible after the completed form is received. 
The document must be notarized. Online notaries such as Proof.com and Notarize.com are accepted. Contact Member Services
